Getting started

What exactly does TrixieWatch check?
We check your invoices for new or changed fees, fuel surcharge rate changes, Environmental Recovery Fee discrepancies, duplicate line items, charges that compound in unexpected ways, and fees that have no standard published basis. We compare what you were charged against your hauler's published rate tables.
How long does a scan take?
During our current review phase, results are delivered by email within 24 hours of upload. We review every invoice manually before sending results. This is part of our quality guarantee.
What happens if no problem is found?
You get a clear email confirmation: we checked, and everything looks normal. That is not a failure result. It is proof that your invoices were reviewed and held up. A monthly green signal is part of what you are paying for.
Can I upload older invoices?
Yes. We recommend uploading the last 12 months for the best comparison baseline, but even 3 months is enough to catch new fees and duplicates. Most hauler portals (WM: 24 months, Republic: 12 months, GFL: 12 months) have historical invoices available for download.
What file formats do you accept?
PDF invoices are supported. Upload the invoice exactly as you received it from your hauler.
Which waste haulers do you support?
We focus on WM, Republic Services, GFL, and RoadRunner. Other haulers are handled on a best-effort basis. The more structured the invoice, the more we can check.
Do I need to share my waste contract?
No. We only need the invoices.
How long does setup take?
For the free scan: upload your invoices and you are done. No account required, no setup. For a monthly plan, we will walk you through the process after your first scan.

Privacy and security

Who has access to my invoice data?
Only authorized team members involved in processing your results. During our current early access phase, results are reviewed by our team before delivery. This is part of our quality guarantee.
Is my invoice data used to train AI?
Your invoice data is used solely to generate your monitoring results. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your invoices and results are deleted within 30 days of cancellation. You can also request immediate deletion at any time by emailing us.

Plans and pricing

What happens after the free scan?
Nothing automatic. You get your results by email and you decide what to do next. No credit card is required for the free scan, and there is no automatic subscription.
Why is Starter more expensive per location than Solo if I only have 2 locations?
With 1 or 2 locations, Solo ($49/location) is the cheaper option. At 3 locations, Starter ($129 flat) becomes the better deal. It covers up to 5 locations for $18 less per month than three Solo plans. Solo is designed for single-location businesses that do not plan to add more locations.
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Yes, at any time. Contact us and we will handle the change.
